Resolutions

Back in 2006, when i first joined BB

I went for a Rest and Relax Camp at Bkt Tinggi

whereby Sir Loh, our OIC asked all of us to pen down a Time Capsule, stating some resolutions.

And today, after a lapse of close to two years

we all opened it

And here I am to share this with all of you

In 6 months

1. To be able to master the snares and the quad drums
2. To get a recruit into BB2SJ (2nd Subang Jaya Company)
3. To be able to improve my piano playing variations
4. Help Julian, my good friend, to achieve his grades in PMR
5. Perform my duty well as an Asst. Head Prefect & as a child

In 1 year

1. To start a small home tuition group
2. To share the gospel to non-christians
3. Get good grades for SPM
4. Pick up 2 new instruments and play it during worship (drums/guitar)

In 5 years

1. To be discharged as an NCO and return back to BB2SJ to serve as an officer
2. Pass and qualify into university

Question: What God would want me to acheive?

1. To grow up with him in me
2. To share the gospel
3. To teach and pass on the baton of all my skills and talents to the younger ones
4. To never ever let Him go
5. Serve him with a willing heart

Well, I'm proud to say that I've achieved 70% of what I wrote!!

And now here I am asked by Capt. T.T to do a short testimony on how BB has changed my life to be published in our church bulletin!

I mean it's just amazing to see how God has worked wonders in me through BB..

And I would like to take this time to just thank all my officers, my NCO Council and especially a special someone, LCpl Grace Tan for pushing me and supporting me all the way to go this far in BB

Double Jobs

For those of you who are dying to know, =P

Here's what i've been doing for the past two months:

1. Working at Lt. K's home office doing filing, data entry, more of clerical work together with Boys Brigade matters

2. Weeding together with Ka Kit at Lt. K's house

3. Starting next Tuesday, working for Canon at Standard Chartered Bank, State PJ

4. At night, working at My Elephant, a restaurant by Mr. P


Work work work, yes i know

But hey, i think i'll earn RM6k within this 4 months? =P

I just got turned down for an offer of a 15 days job for RM800!!

Well, sad ain't it?

But there's this little comforting voice which tells me

Hey, you are already working for my ministry, isn't that great?

I guess so..

I am working for Boys Brigade with Lt. Katherine

and i am loving my job!

So yeah!

A Prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each an do every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Be not ashamed of sharing this powerful prayer to all your friends as Jesus says in Luke 9:26 "For whoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My words, the Son of Man shall be ashamed of him when He shall come in His own and in His Father's glory, and that of the holy angels."

not so much of a holiday i would say, for this week

either i was at the library, home, or tuition =\

A Walk To Remember =P

spend the time after school to fix my phone today because of an sms problem..

well i'll just highlight some interesting things la =P

^ dad drew a map for me

met Kei Kei on the bus ride down to Central Market, rushing for tuition cuz she had a basketball tournament

^ i hate the air of KL, polluted like crazy~

never knew how much i missed out on being dependant on parents too much

lesson learnt today : start being independant !

well, on the way there a foreigner asked me wher was TFM College, i said i dunno, im sry and just walked off ..

oops a blunder there, i think he couldnt hear me and he gave me a "look" =\

i should also be more sociable, since becoming a prefect, i always seclude myself and there went my high school years. alot of things meant to be learnt, i din learn..

well, once i reached Sungei Wang plaza, took me close to an hour to get there, left school at 2.30pm

the phone shop tested my phone and found out that the phone had no problem! =.= ishhh

it was maxis' networking problem that interefered with my sms-ing

soo they told me to go to Maxis Centre upstairs, to my dismay they said call the Maxis Hotline!!

conclusion: i one whole day go out = sai hei already ...

but well, saw many things on the way, today may just be something that i wouldnt do again..

walking down KL with my green pants! yeap yeap i'm no longer wearing white nowadays... =P

on the way home, i met Mr Nanda, my tuition teacher, who wanted to buy "House" at Petaling Street... xD

before boarding the bus, i saw a blind lady trying to board bus 12, i wasnt sure that she was blind, dumb of me not to think, "hey, why would a lady be carrying a white stick and moving it aruond?!

on the way home, was thinkking about a book i read at MPH while awaiting my dad's call.. it was talking about things like, DONT go to university! Compare urself with a graduate at 23 years, and if u started work since 18 years. Learn from the University of Life!

shall be talking to an adult about this in the future..

on the way back home, i also saw YMCA and then i clocked home at 6.30pm!

that ends my day of plain sightseeing and reflecting..
